The second episode of our New Music Podcast features an awesome local band by the name of Deathmocracy! These guys have been holding it down in the Seattle area for years now, and it was our pleasure to be able to sit down with them live on Metal Shop to debut a few songs from their upcoming self-titled record. Today we had the pleasure of sharing the Metal Shop studios with our friend and brother John Pettibone of Heiress, Himsa, Iamthethorn and many other heavy NW bands. He is the vocalist for Heiress and was gracious enough to bring in a copy of their new record, Early Frost. We got to chat a bit about their new record and upcoming shows, as well as getting to chop it up about a few other deeper topics such as recent fatherhood, the state of the music scene, illegal downloads and playing music for the sake of playing music. Today we talked with the King of the Scumdogs, Oderus Urungus of the almighty GWAR! We chatted about previews of their current tour, politics, Justin Bieber, and getting hammered. Apparently Gwar likes crack cocaine.. Anyway he told us a bit about their new record, and was an overall dastardly space alien gentleman. Check it out for yourself!

Today we spoke with Wolf Hoffman, one of the most influential guitarists in heavy metal. He plays for a classic band by the name of Accept, and they are coming to town Saturday September 22nd with Kreator and Swallow The Sun at El Corazon.
