Welcome back to Metal Shop! The four most extreme hours of radio in all the land! This week we started things off with a killer old school local band from the good ol Northwestm Forced Entry! From there, we went into Helloween covering Judas Priest and then debuted some brand new Jeff Loomis at 11:15. At the midway mark of the hour, we announced that Killswitch Engage will be playing their entire "Alive Or Just Breathing" album on November 27th at Studio 7. Toward the end of the hour we named the newest member of GWAR and gave away tickets to see Morbid Angel, Grave and Dark Funeral.

To start out second hour this week, we dusted off some classic Saxon for our "From The Vault" old school segment at the stroke of midnight. After that, we received a crucial request for some Gorod, a request we're always happy to appease. Around the halfway mark of the hour, we played a short segment from the near hour long interview Kevin conducted with Converge frontman Jake Bannon and then debuted a new song from their album "All We Love We Leave Behind." Toward the end of the hour we played some grave and gave out more tickets to see them with Morbid Angel and Dark Funeral.

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh began with Anaal Nathrakh from the UK, into Leng Tch'e, followed by Rotten Sound, Disact covering Hatebreed, Total F'ing Destruction, and lastly Noisear. We aired our second portion of an interview with Jake Bannon from Converge, and also debuted a brand new song from that highly influential band. Ryan The Beard carried our sensitive segement, Brutal Poetry, with a track called Unleash The Carnivore and KILLED IT. PUNS ANYONE? We also played new Tesseract this hour and gave away another pair of tickets to see Morbid Angel!

Tonight's Dubsack featured unreleased music from Neurosis - Their record Honor Found In Decay comes out October 30th on Neurot Records. St. Vitus followed up Neurosis for our stony segment, and Gym Rat Matt reared his ugly bro-ish head during this hour. We gave our our final pair of tickets to Morbid Angel this hour, and proceded to immediately enter the realm of Last Call, where we give NW metal heads a chance to hear their last requests for the evening. METAL SHOP RETURNS! We began this episode with a brutally creepy new tune from Aborted into Brutality covering Electric Funeral! Brand new music from Between The Buried and Me was debuted this hour, and we also gave away our first pair of tickets to see Hatebreed, Whitechapel, and All Shall Perish this Tuesday at the Showbox Market. We had BJ from the WA chapter of NYDM in studio again to give his local concert calendar, and we debuted another new release from Dethklok!

From The Vault tonight spotlighted some oldschool Peter Steele material with Carnivore. We debuted new songs from The Acacia Strain and Down, and also gave away Hatebreed tickets for this Tuesday at the Showbox At The Market. This hour was filled with more new music from Revocation, As I Lay Dying, and more - and we concluded the hour with a classic from Mercyful Fate going out by request to our man Ron!

The third hour of this week's show started off with a band in the form of Caught in a Mosh - the heaviest consecutive 15 minutes of the show where you hear all the grindiest, slammiest and burliest tracks we can find for the week. Wew started off with some Agoraphobic Nosebleed and it got even crazier from there!!!! After that, we slowed things down a notch and gave away some tickets to go see Nightwish and Kamelot at the Showbox SoDo. For Brutal Poetry, Ian recited lyrics from a wonderfully gory track by Bloodbath, and then we later gave away tickets to see Hatebreed and Whitechapel.

The final hour of this week's show started with our "green friendly" segment, the 2am Dubsack. This week, we featured an old school track by a gothic doom band called Candlemass and followed it up by dosing you with a song by the UK's finest stoners, Electric Wizard. From there, we played a brand new track by Long Island metalcore pioneers Vision of Disorder and fulfilled a request for C.F.H era Pantera.

The third hour marks the return of Caught in a Mosh - the 15 most ear-punishing minutes of extreme radio ever. This week we started things off huge with some Engorgement and then a debut track off the brand new record by The Acacia Strain that's not out for another month! From there, we gave away tickets to see Anthrax, Testament and Death Angel and played the classic Public Enemy/Anthrax collabo "Bring the Noise!" This week, Kevin recited the lyrics to a Belphegor song for "Brutal Poetry" and we ended the hour by giving away tickets to see Hatebreed and Whitechapel.

The fourth and final hour of this week's show started off with our "green friendly" segment, the 2am "Dubsack" where we featured two stoney jams - one by a band called My Dying Bride and another by an awesomely atmospheric post metal band called A Storm Of Light. Trippy stuff, maaaaaaaan. From there, we gave away tickets to go see the almight Obituary and Decrepit Birth for Sunday 9/23 at Studio Seven. We finished the night off strong with a request for Arch Enemy, some brand new music by Down and a foursome of awesomeness featuring Slayer, Overkill, S.O.D and Dying Fetus. Horns up!
