Welcome back to Metal Shop, the realm of the ungodly! This week we featured brand new music every 15 minutes! We started off the show by celebrating the fact that Randy Blythe is now a free man by playing some Lamb Of God. From there we debuted some new music by Swedish death metal masters Grave and then a little bit of brand new Testament. Around the midway point of the hour, we broke some news about black metal supergroup Twilight that is quite interesting for fans of alternative rock. Toward the end of the hour we jammed some brand new music by local band Stealing Axion!!!

The second hour of this week's show started with an ever so brutal track by a little band by the name of Nile. It's from their new record and it seriously kicks all kinds of ass. Frm there, we slowed things down a bit by announcing a stoneriffic tour that will include St. Vitus, Weedeater and Sourvein and then played a jam off the new Vitus record (which also kicks ass). Toward the end of the hour we debuted a track off the new Deathspell Omega EP. France!

Metal Shop's third hour this evening began with a tune from Sabaton into Caught In A MOSH, our heaviest 15 minutes of the night! We started off with Devour The Unborn (tasty), into Engorgement, Warf**K, and Visceral Disgorge. Gorge yourself! After CIAM we played another song from the new Nachtmystium record, Silencing Machine, which came out last week on Century Media Records. Intern Ryan The Beard took on Brutal Poetry this week, with a literal stab at a fine lyrical gem from Abominable Putridity.

Tonight's DUB SACK, our stony green portion of the night, we featured more brand new music! This time it came in the form of a 9 minute jam by a band called Eagle Twin! New music continued on all the way until the end of the show with new tunes from The Foreshadowing, Gaza, Ex Deo, Ovid's Withering, and many more. As usual, Metal Shop's last call came into effect, and we closed out the night with requests for Vision Of Disorder and local band Blood And Thunder. KEEP METAL ALIVE! We'll see you next week! \m/

Welcome back to Metal Shop - the realm of the ungodly! This week we started off by jamming some brand new High On Fire then launching into a quick interview with Testament's Chuck Billy where he unveiled a contest that could win Seattle a free Testament show! Listen for details... The last half of the hour was dedicated to featuring local band CZAR, who helped us give away tickets to go see them open for Gaza and Eagle Twin at El Corazon.

From there, we premeired a new song by the almighty Down, then played a part of Kevin's interview from last weekend with Earth Crisis. Toward the end of the hour we debuted an epic 10 minute jam by Between the Buried and Me.

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh featured Rotten Sound, Putridity, Aborted, Milking The Goat Machine and new music from Murder Construct! As a reward for sticking through our heaviest segment of the night, we gave out our final pair of tickets to go see Iron Maiden in 2012. Kevin returned us to the Brutal Poetry lounge tonight with an excerpt from Exhumed's "Open The Abscess." We aired some brand new Folk Metal from Korpiklaani and ended the hour with some classic Seattle metal from Metal Church. \m/

Tonight's 2am Dubsack featured new music from Hooded Menace, and then we hit you with another new song from local band Stealing Axion into MORE new music from King of Asgard! We aired another of Kevin's interviews from his trip last week to California's Sound And Fury - This time with Nick Jett, drumer of the crossover band Terror. We hit last call and called it a night here on Metal Shop by playing some Lamb Of God in solidarity with Randy Blythe and his current incarceration in the Czech Republic. Welcome back to Metal Shop - your weekly four hour dose of brutality! We began tonight with new Immolation into some classic Iron Maiden to get the feel right. Tonight we were happy to announce the return of the almighty GWAR to the Northwest on November 10th at the Showbox Sodo! Halfway through this hour we talked with Jon Shaffer, OG guitar player and member of the band Iced Earth, who just put out a huge comeback record this year and are kicking ass on the road currently.

Hour 2 tonight began with our oldschool segment From The Vault where we shine a light on some underrated yet influential bands. Tonight we heard from Forbidden, an older thrash band from California who put out an awesome record in 1990 by the name of Twisted Into Form. Later on we heard from Garbo Kevin, who was on location in Santa Barbara for Sound And Fury Festival. He interviewed several bands and we heard his conversation with heavy-hitters Xibalba.
