Tonight's 4th hour began with our segment called The Dubsack, where we play some nice stony jams and embrace the closing of the bars. Tonight's Dubsack featured a local band by the name of Samothrace with their brand new song A Horse Of Our Own. We gave away tickets to see Gojira, Dethklok and Lamb Of God this hour and immediately handed over the reigns to you for Metal Shop's Last Call of the night! Welcome back to the realm of Metal Shop! We began this week with some classic In Flames into brand new heaviness from Gojira, and then gave away tickets to see Fear Factory. Tonight we had the pleasure of hanging out with John Pettibone, vocalist of NW bands Himsa, Heiress, Undertow and many more. We talked about the history of his first band Undertow and their reunion show this Saturday night at Neumo's in Seattle. Enjoy some local jams, and head on over to the next hour! \m/

Welcome back to the realm of Metal Shop! We began tonight with Gojira and the latest from Autopsy, gave away tickets to Decaptiated and Decrepit Birth, and celebrated 25 brutal years of Slayer's Reign In Blood. We talked with the gentlemen from Premonition 13 this hour, and also played Wino's other band Saint Vitus. Hour one came to a close with brand new unreleased music from Insomnium.

Caught In A Mosh, our heaviest segment of the night, featured Insect Warfare, Earth Crisis, Owen Hart, Rotten Sound and Wormrot! We gave away Impending Doom tickets this hour, played Gojira and ended the show with a nice long song from Rwake. We'll see you next Saturday night!

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh featured all bands that are playing Rainfest 2011 - the only completely DIY annual hardcore festival in the Northwest, and it's all going down on Memorial Day Weekend. We opened with Owen Hart into Black Breath, followed by Losing Skin and an interview with Greg Bennick of Trial. Local band Funeral Age also showed up this week, and we gave away tickets to see Orange Goblin. The show rounded out this evening with Gojira and Forgotten Tomb. Thanks again to Book Of Black Earth for coming up to the show!

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh began with new music from Magrudergrind into Gojira, Aborted, Total F'ing Destruction, Nailbomb and finally Merauder. Now that your face has been obliterated, we brought you some King Diamond, gave away tickets to Trap Them at El Corazon, and featured Jean Grey, Unhailoed, Iron Maiden, and ended with our chill song of the night, Agalloch's I Am The Wooden Doors. Caught In A Mosh started tonight with local deathcore headbangers Doom of Babylon, followed by Gojira, Ringworm, Cannibal Corpse, and an interview with Jon Huber, the new singer for Pathology about how he was chosen as their new frontman... plus a burly Metal Shop growl! Charlie Sheen, what happened bro? Chimaira covers Wild Thing in this hour, and we featured new music from Speed Kill Hate and The Human Abstract. We ended this hour in a very chill manner.
