Tonight's Caught In A Mosh began with Anaal Nathrakh from the UK, into Leng Tch'e, followed by Rotten Sound, Disact covering Hatebreed, Total F'ing Destruction, and lastly Noisear. We aired our second portion of an interview with Jake Bannon from Converge, and also debuted a brand new song from that highly influential band. Ryan The Beard carried our sensitive segement, Brutal Poetry, with a track called Unleash The Carnivore and KILLED IT. PUNS ANYONE? We also played new Tesseract this hour and gave away another pair of tickets to see Morbid Angel!

METAL SHOP RETURNS! We began this episode with a brutally creepy new tune from Aborted into Brutality covering Electric Funeral! Brand new music from Between The Buried and Me was debuted this hour, and we also gave away our first pair of tickets to see Hatebreed, Whitechapel, and All Shall Perish this Tuesday at the Showbox Market. We had BJ from the WA chapter of NYDM in studio again to give his local concert calendar, and we debuted another new release from Dethklok!

From The Vault tonight spotlighted some oldschool Peter Steele material with Carnivore. We debuted new songs from The Acacia Strain and Down, and also gave away Hatebreed tickets for this Tuesday at the Showbox At The Market. This hour was filled with more new music from Revocation, As I Lay Dying, and more - and we concluded the hour with a classic from Mercyful Fate going out by request to our man Ron!

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh brought you the heaviest 15 minutes of the entire week here on KISW - featuring bands such as Strong Intention, Malignancy, Slam Coke, Vomitory, and Murder Construct. Right after CIAM this week, we gave out tickets to see Accept, Kreator, and Swallow the Sun, followed by a greeting from the lovely Jolene and a rendition of Brutal Poetry brought to you by Ian reciting the fine lyrical stylings of one All Out War. We ended this hour with a brand new music block from The Devin Townsend Project, Dethklok, and last but not least Grave!

We gave out tickets to see Obituary, Decrepit Birth and Broken Hope at Studio Seven on September 23rd, and we talked to a few of our friends from the south end music community before we gave away our last tickets to see Winds of Plague, then finally hit last call for requests for the week! Caught In A Mosh – Our heaviest 15 minutes of the night began with Cenotaph and carried on the brutality with Brutal Truth, General Surgery covering Xysma, and Engorgement. After the break we dished out some tickets for Moonsorrow/Tyr/Korpiklaani this Saturday the 8th at Studio Seven, and played a new Converge song from their record coming out on October 9th. Ryan The Beard, our intern, hit us this week with Brutal Poetry in the Metal Shop Lounge. He recited a passage from Donor Cadaver by Big End Bolt and we also debuted new Ex Deo!

We also gave out tickets to Devin Townsend Project and Katatonia, as well as debuted another new song from Ensiferum!

They told us a bit about their new record, when to expect it, and to come out and see them play some of their new songs next Saturday at the Studio Seven 10th Anniversary party.
