Today we sat and chatted a bit with the infamous Death Metal growler Chris Barnes. We discussed the new SFU record Undead, and their most recent lineup changes for the 2012 18 Nights of Blood Tour with Dying Fetus and Revocation. He told us about Six Feet Under harnessing modern technology to reach their fans, the Barge To Hell cruise, and even some dreadlock talk. Chris is obviously a fan of the green, so we discussed his favorite alternative smoking choices and how Cannibal Corpse got involved with the Ace Ventura film back in 1994. Today Ian sat down with Bill Kelliher (guitar) and Brann Dailor (drums) of Mastodon before their show at the Showbox Sodo with Opeth and Ghost. They discussed the current tour, and the evolution of Mastodon with The Hunter. Bill and Brann explained a bit about their Record Store Day releases and commented on the recent demise of Roadrunner Records UK. They finished off by showing off their scars and gave some final words for the Northwest audience.

Caught In A Mosh, our most insane 15 minutes of radio began tonight with a little diddy by a band called Cattle Decapitation. It was followed shortly with brutality from Last Days Of Humanity, Desecravity, Hemdale, and finally Spawn Of Possesion. We gave out tickets to go see Paganfest with Turisas, Alestorm, Phalgeron and others this hour, and Ian completed this week's Brutal Poetry by reading a passage from Dying Fetus' Kill Your Mother, Rape Your Dog. Dethklok popped up this hour and we also chatted briefly about the new project from Brendon Smalls - Galaktikon!

Tickets to go see Ghost went out early this hour, and we reiterated the Rockstar Mayhem Festival announcement. Slayer, Anthrax, Slipknot and many more! Ian sat and chatted with Barney from Napalm Death this hour, and we played a new unreleased song from their record Utilitarian out in February. Hour one ended with tickets to see August Burns Red.

From The Vault - our oldschool segment of the night - features a band by the name of Wrathchild America playing their song Hell's Gates. We debuted new Megadeth this hour, and gave out tickets to Whitechapel and played new music from Vader. Kevin interviewed Nick Jett from Terror this hour and gave away tickets to their show on Monday, November 7th at El Corazon. Dimmu Borgir and Dillenger Escape Plan ended the hour.

Kevin sat down today to chat with Nick Jett, drummer of the band Terror! They talked about the latest Terror record, Keepers Of The Faith, the hardcore scene, Terror's crossover potential, Nick's other band Piece By Piece, and even the joke video "Booty Smell Good Doe." We talked today with Brian Posehn, calling us from LA in preparation for his stand-up show in Seattle at the Neptune Theater on Saturday, August 6th. We talked with Brian about creating his own dream band, how to handle yourself in the pit, quitting weed, performing at the Gathering of the Juggallos, he also answered our scar question amongst many others.
