Welcome back to Metal Shop! We began tonight with both Dimmu Borgir and Enslaved, in a tribute to our Norwegian friends dealing with their current tragedy, and also to the amazing music that comes from that nation. We interviewed John Kevill from Warbringer and also debuted a brand new track from their record, "Worlds Torn Asunder." We gave away SLAYER tickets and also featured local band 7 Horns 7 Eyes, who's preview EP Convalesence is available on Itunes now.

Tonight's From The Vault featured a Finnish death metal band from 1992 by the name of Convulse! After that we played new music from Toxic Holocaust, gave away Summer Slaughter tickets, talked to Matt Heafy from Trivium, and also gave away tickets to see SLAYER!

Today we got to talk with John Kevill, the vocalist of modern thrash band Warbringer. He told us about some of the songs on their new record, "Worlds Torn Asunder," the Warbringer songwriting process, tour activities, John's dream band, and he also answered our scar question. Their new record comes out September 27th on Century Media and they will be in town at El Corazon on November 5th.

We started Caught In A Mosh this week with Regurgitate, and went into new Harm's Way, Extreme Noise Terror, Discordance Axis, new Earth Crisis and finally Bury Your Dead. We played a request for King Diamond and aired our portion of the interview we did with Robb Flynn from Machine Head last week at the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. Meatwad from the Adult Swim network phoned in, and we ended the episode with Eyehategod. See you all next week!

Welcome to the 4th of July weekend edition of Metal Shop! We started tonight with Burning The Masses (no firework jokes) into Slayer. New Decapitated popped up this hour and we dedicated local band Himsa to everyone at work while listening to Metal Shop. We aired a portion of our interview with Trevor, the singer of metalcore band Unearth, and played new music from Born Of Osiris.

We talked today with Devin Townsend, frontman for Strapping Young Lad and obviously the Devin Townsend Project. We talked to him about his recent two releases, Ghost and Deconstruction. We chatted briefly about the guest artists on Deconstruction, his work on the SINatra compilation, the PXD Townsend signature guitar, production styles, the release of Ghost 2, Heavy Devy Records and even Auto-erotic asphyxiation. Stick around to the end of the interview to hear Heavy Dev himself answer our scar question and tell us about listening to Maiden on KISW as a child.

We kicked off Metal Shop this evening with a song from Carpathian Forest, into unreleased music from AUTOPSY. We talked a bit about the Summer Slaughter tour, and aired our Between The Buried And Me radio takeover in its entirety!

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh featured: Pig Destroyer, Skinless (RIP), Gridlink, and Defeated Sanity. We dosed out some BTBAM tickets, featured the BIG 4 of Thrash, handed out more In This Moment tickets, and played a Hate Eternal Interview and brand new song. WHEW. A great night, all-in-all. We talked with Chris Letchford, guitarist and songwriter for instrumental prog-metal band Scale The Summit. We chatted a bit about how they created their sound, the term "Djent," their current tour with Periphery, and we ended with a brief fill in the blank game!
