Caught In A Mosh, our heaviest segment of the night, featured Noisear, new Pathology, Antigama, Mortician, and Sworn Enemy. We dished out some Kamelot tickets and aired Ian's debut attempt at Brutal Poetry - featuring Unleashed. Vicky B from the BJ Shea Morning Experience joined us this hour, and we gave away our last set of tickets for D.R.I. We ended Metal Shop this week with new music from Mastodon, and a classic ballad from Down. See you next Saturday night!

Welcome back to Metal Shop - Pain In The Grass 2011 version! We opened up tonight with music from Benighted into All That Remains, who killed it on the mainstage this year at PITG. We received a special surprise visit from Ryan Castle, Vicky B, Jolene, alongside Ben and Ted from the Men's Room for a post Pain In The Grass toast! Both Toxic Holocaust and Pentagram tickets went out this hour, and we also played new music from Exhumed, Devin Townsend Project and Origin, amongst others. Press play! \m/

Tonight's episode of Metal Shop began with an epic tune by a band called Graf Orlock from the Bay Area of California. New music from Cannabis Corpse came after that, followed by Dark Tranquility and a new tune from Anthrax. The Great Southern Trendkill gave way to Diamond Head and tickets to their show at El Corazon on Monday August 15th at El Corazon. We announced the Gwar tour, coming to town at the Showbox Sodo on November 8th, and we ended this hour with remastered music from Death.

Caught In A Mosh this week featured 8 indiscriminately brutal bands: Insect Warfare, Pathology, Phobia, Magrudergrind, Depths Of Humanity, New Lows, In Disgust, and Merauder. We heard new music from both Trivium and Unearth, and also test ran a fun new segment titled "Brutal Poetry." Deicide announced their upcoming March US tour, and we ended the show with new music from Wolves In The Throne Room. Until next Saturday, horns up!

Tonight we started with Obituary, into Dark Funeral covering SLAYER, who were in town tonight! We debuted a brand new song from Skeleton Witch, and gave away tickets to see Landmine Marathon - who are playing with two incredible local bands, Owen Hart and new band Theories. We also played live music from Pantera, and announced the upcoming Decaptitated tour. This hour ended with the Contortionist.

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh featured Amputated, Cephalotripsy, Last Days Of Humanity, Iron Lung, Hour Of Pennance, Nails and Kataklysm. We followed up our heaviest 15 minutes of the night with old-school revival from Accept, followed by two new tracks from Polish death metal act Vader. We gave away tickets to see Diamond Head this hour, and ended with a doomy jam by Corrupted. See you next week!

Tonight's From The Vault features Sabbat - an oldschool Japanese thrash band from 1992. We also went on to give away two pairs of tickets to see Slayer, and also interviewed The Black Dahlia Murder this hour. The Human Abstract ended the hour.

METAL SHOP - back by popular demand! We began this week with new music from both Toxic Holocaust and Cannabis Corpse. Cephalic Carnage and Ancient also showed up this hour before we aired a portion of our interview with Jamey Jasta from last week's Rockstar Mayhem Festival. New music from Sepultura and Benighted were played this hour, and we ended with giving away tickets to the Summer Slaughter tour with Darkest Hour and Dying Fetus.

Tonight we featured Ripping Corpse on From The Vault, our segment devoted to some of the more old-school metal bands. Erik Rutan ripped it up in Ripping Corpse, and we followed that up with Animals As Leaders. We played local band Lenore and gave away tickets to the all-local metal festival NXNW down in the South-end. Local bands Psychonaut Death Trip and Blood & Thunder also showed up this hour. Gigan and Slayer took us out and led us into Caught In A Mosh!

We started Caught In A Mosh this week with Regurgitate, and went into new Harm's Way, Extreme Noise Terror, Discordance Axis, new Earth Crisis and finally Bury Your Dead. We played a request for King Diamond and aired our portion of the interview we did with Robb Flynn from Machine Head last week at the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. Meatwad from the Adult Swim network phoned in, and we ended the episode with Eyehategod. See you all next week!
