We began tonight's episode with an epic banger from Behemoth, and a brand new unreleased song from Black Breath to get things going in the right direction! We also announced HUGE Metal Shop news, in that as of next week we are going to be on the air as a four hour show as opposed to the traditional 3 we are used to. Next week Metal Shop is on from 11pm to 3am! Folk Metal February continued on with Tyr and Ensiferum! We ended the first hour of the Shop with tickets to see Possessed and brand new Cannibal Corpse!

We started Metal Shop tonight with a band by the name of Abominable Putridity – just to warm you up! Brand new Soulfly was played right at the beginning, and we also gave out our tickets to see August Burns Red at El Corazon on Feb. 11th. This hour also featured local band Sacrament Ov Impurity in studio live, promoting their show next week with Phalgeron at El Corazon.

Caught In A Mosh tonight featured new music from Aborted, Dying Fetus, Clinging To The Trees Of A Forest Fire, Condemned, Magrudergrind, and finally Fallujah. Tickets to see Uli Jon Roth went out this hour, and Brutal Poetry featured Kevin's rendition of Cannibal Corpse's Force Fed Broken Glass. We gave out tickets to see Anvil and ended the show on a "high" note with Isis. See you again next week!

Welcome back to Metal Shop! We kicked off the show tonight with Carcass and brand new music from Lamb Of God. Tickets to go see Ghost went out early this hour, and we reiterated the Rockstar Mayhem Festival announcement. Slayer, Anthrax, Slipknot and many more! Ian sat and chatted with Barney from Napalm Death this hour, and we played a new unreleased song from their record Utilitarian out in February. Hour one ended with tickets to see August Burns Red.

Metal Shop this evening began with Carpathian Forest into brand new music from Aborted - and we followed that up with tickets to go see Scale The Summit. RIP Kevin's Slayer shirt.. whoever stole it be damned! We announced the Black Dahlia Murder/Nile show this hour and also debuted a brand new song from Lamb of God. In Flames tickets went out this hour, and we HAD to play Behemoth out by request. Harm's Way from Chicago ruined your face and we ended the first hour with Machine Head's Blood For Blood!

From The Vault, our old school segment, featured Bolt Thrower from 1988. We gave out tickets to see Ghost and also debuted another unreleased song from Lamb Of God. We sent some Soulfly and Corrosion of Conformity out by request this hour, and our intern Callum also gave us the local concert calendar. We aired new music from Veil Of Maya, and also gave away tickets to see Scale The Summit.

Caught In A Mosh began tonight with the intro track from Pig Destroyer's record Phantom Limb, into brand new music from Cannibal Corpse! Flesh Consumed, Cephalotripsy, and Napalm Death! We played our last new Lamb Of God song this hour and gave away tickets to go see Ghost. We sent out the Metal Shop last call and heard from Pantera, Testament, King Diamond and Noothgrush. METAL SHOP 2012 in full effect! Tonight we began with two awesome Brazilian bands - Sepultura and Krisiun. Tickets to Ghost went out right away, new music from Aborted was debuted in hour 1, and shouted out Tony Iommi and wished him well with his current health battles. We heard from August Burns Red, Iced Earth, Archspire and finally ended the hour with this week's intro to From The Vault - MANOWAR!

From The Vault tonight featured Manowar! We delivered the first Rainfest 2012 announcement shortly after FTV and also ran down a brief list of some of the best local metal shows in January so definitely check that out. Gym Rat Matt stopped by to bring us a new song from Lamb Of God. Exodus, Suffocation, Immortal and more also popped up this hour.

Caught In A Mosh! Our 15 minutes of brutality began tonight with Insect Warfare and carried on with Hemdale, Inherit Disease, General Surgery, Revilement, and Disgorge. We gave out tickets to see Ghost, and played new music from Immolation before Brutal Poetry - featuring Ian's rendition of Devourment's Choking On Bile. Cannibal Corpse's Hammer Smashed Face won our first Facebook song poll, and we opened up the phone lines at the end of the night for Metal Shop's Last Call. See you next Saturday night!
