We opened tonight with an honorable mention from Darkest Hour, and jumped right into the countdown. Revocation came in at #20, followed by Fleshgod Apocalypse at #19. Polish death metallers Decapitated came in at #18, and Exhumed demolished at #17. #16 was devoted to Animals As Leaders, #15 was gifted to Skeletonwitch, and Opeth claimed the #14 spot.

DEATH METAL DECEMBER takes over Metal Shop once again in the X-mas episode for an entire hour. We also spoke with local band Evangelist, who are calling it quits later this week. Evangelist has been raging in Seattle for several years now, and they are hosting a benefit for Doctors Without Borders. Caught In A Mosh tonight featured F.. I'm Dead, Engorge, Fallujah and more. We chatted with Lenny from Sanctuary and gave away tickets to their show on New Years Eve at El Corazon. We also played a ton of other x-mas tunes we missed out on early in the first hour. Merry Christmas from Metal Shop, 2011! Thanks again to local band Evangelist for coming up and teasing their final show at The Galway Arms, and a final RIP to Andrew Gold, the singer of Woods of Ypres, who was tragically killed this week.

We are pleased to bring you the 2011 X-mas episode of Metal Shop! We began tonight with August Burns Red’s rendition of Carol Of The Bells into Tortured Conscience – The Little Drummer Boy. Arbiter gave us Santa Claus is Coming To Town, we heard O Come O Come Emmanuel, Jingle Bell Rock and Feliz Navidjent. Sanctuary tickets went out this hour, we called out the Krampus, and ended our hour of X-mas tunes.

DMD tonight brought you Dying Fetus, Adoroir, Deicide, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Kataklysm and Incantation.

From The Vault tonight featured an oldschool track from Canada's Annihilator! Our first pair of tickets to go see Rammstein went out this hour, and we aired a few choice X-mas tunes - Chuck Billy of Testament's version of Silent Night, and local band I Declare War performing their rendition of Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. Gym Rat Matt showed up this hour and called out his enemies, despite the fact that he is kind of a D-bag. Hour 3 is up next!

Every Saturday night at 1am we bust out the most offensive, brutal, and rediculous jams we can possibly think of - and title it Caught In A Mosh.. perfect for Sunday morning! Tonight we hit you with Demonaz, Deivos, Feastem, Defeated Sanity, Iron Lung, Premonitions Of War, Wormrot and Antigama. We gave out our second pair of tickets to see Rammstein this hour, and aired Kevin's Brutal Poetry featuring Haemorrhage - Open Heart Butchery. We ended tonight by opening up the lines to Metal Shop last call and played requests for Cavalera Conspiracy, Gojira, and lastly Cleveland's own Integrity.

Tonight's Metal Shop began with Machine Head's tribute song to Dimebag Darrell, who was taken from us 7 years ago this week. RIP DIME! We are proud to have been able to debut a new song from Lamb Of God this hour, titled Ghost Walking. Death Metal December once again took ahold of the second half of the hour as your answer to the holiday blues. From The Vault tonight featured an oldschool jam from Immortal's predecesors - Amputation. We played Motorhead and Megadeth and gave away tickets to see those guys in Kent at the Showare Center. Chris Johnson from Action Tattoo is heading up an awesome DIY toy drive for people in the South Sound in 2011, so we shouted him out and played the new holiday tune from August Burns Red - God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. We gave out our 2nd pair of tickets to see Sanctuary on New Years Eve, and we ended this hour with music from Korpiklaani and Killswitch Engage.
