Tonight's From The Vault featured Cradle Of Filth's first full length recording: The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh, released in 1994. We gave away Chimaira tickets, played new Absu and aired the second portion of our interview with Mikael from Opeth. Some valiant callers did their best Halford impressions and won themselves tickets to the farewell Judas Priest performance here in the north west.

This week's Caught In A Mosh featured Decrepit Birth, Vomit Remnant, Condemned, Xibalba, and Wormrot. We also gave away tickets to Firewind, and in case you didn't get enough heaviness, Brutal Poetry featured Cryptopsy's Benedictive Convulsion. We aired the third portion of our interview with Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth this hour and concluded with an epic tune from Electric Wizard. Welcome back to the realm of Metal Shop! We began tonight with Gojira and the latest from Autopsy, gave away tickets to Decaptiated and Decrepit Birth, and celebrated 25 brutal years of Slayer's Reign In Blood. We talked with the gentlemen from Premonition 13 this hour, and also played Wino's other band Saint Vitus. Hour one came to a close with brand new unreleased music from Insomnium.

Tonight's segment of From The Vault featured old-school Canadian metallers - Anvil! We gave away tickets to Chimaira, played a Judas Priest cover done by As I Lay Dying from their forthcoming record, and announced when Toxic Holocaust will be coming back to town. We gave away tickets to Opeth also this hour, and ended with the band that will be opening for them - Katatonia.

Caught In A Mosh, our heaviest segment of the night, began with Dysphoria and continued on with Waking The Cadaver, Dead In The Dirt, Implosive Disgorgence, Excruciating Terror, and ended with Suffocation. We gave away tickets to see Enslaved with Alcest, and Kevin returned with Brutal Poetry featuring Embryonic Devourment. We put our new intern Callum on blast and he swore like a dumbass. He is fired. We also gave out Veil Of Maya tickets and ended tonight's show with a slow jam from a band called Loss. See you next time!

Welcome back to Metal Shop! This week the entire first hour of the show is packed to the brim with brand NEW music. The list of awesome bands goes as follows: Warbringer, Megadeth, Trivium, Landmine Marathon, Krisiun, Chimaira, Animals As Leaders, Machine Head and last but not least, Carnifex. Tonight's From The Vault, our oldschool segment, featured Wino's band The Obsessed from 1985! Pantera showed up this hour alongside Agalloch and Blackguard, whose shows were also featured in this hour's giveaways. We also gave a spin to a cool local progressive metal band by the name of Stealing Axion.

Tonight's heaviest 15 minutes, CAUGHT IN A MOSH featured new music from Brutal Truth and Wormrot, music from Gadget, Last Days Of Humanity, Iron Lung, Birdflesh, and Flesh Torture. We gave away tickets to both Premonition 13 and Death Angel this hour, and Kevin rocked Brutal Poetry with the help of Suffocation's Pierced From Within. Some oldschool classics from Slayer and The Accused were requested this hour, and we ended this week's Metal Shop with a groovy jam by Bonzilla. See you next week!

Caught In A Mosh, our heaviest segment of the night featured a ton of short and brutal bands. The lineup went as follows: Regurgitate, Merauder, Wormrot, Phobia, Gridlink, Inherit Disease, Discordance Axis, and we ended with another new song from Pathology. We gave out tickets to Dream Theater and Periphery this hour, and intern Jabroni John was featured in our Brutal Poetry segment. It was awesome having John as our intern this summer, we'll miss you man!

Tonight's Metal Shop began with Montreal heavy hitters Kataklysm, followed shortly by Iron Maiden! We played new music from Anthrax this hour and announced their upcoming tour with both Death Angel and Testament. A great local band by the name of Skelator joined us this hour, and we played some of their great local jammers. Black Breath took us from hour one to hour two!
