From The Vault tonight featured the early death metal stylings of Dark Throne - Soulside Journey style. Tonight we experienced our first ever live listener arrest on Metal Shop, and aired new music from Megadeth, Skeletonwitch, Mastodon and Opeth. Kamelot tickets went out this hour, and we warned you to get ready for Caught In A Mosh!

Welcome back to Metal Shop! We began this episode with Konsortium, followed shortly by Nile. Periphery tickets went out first, and we were also glad to welcome local band Theories in to the studio to debut their new demo (WHICH RULES!). Pig Destroyer tickets also left the house this hour, and we ended with new music from Blood Red Throne.

Tonight Metal Shop's old-school segment, From The Vault, featured Tourniquet! Ian's Mom also picked some French metal tunes this week, and we gave away tickets to see Grave. New Opeth was debuted this hour and we continued our ticket giveaways with both Parkway Drive and Vreid. Hour 2 ended with War Of The Gods by Amon Amarth!

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh featured the slamming tunes of Napalm Death, Pig Destroyer, Rotten Sound, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Devourment and Suffocation. We played local band Blood and Thunder, and also made our decree for the Metal Shop Last Call! We'll see you all next Saturday after Pain In The Grass!

We talked today with Karl, the singer of Earth Crisis about their new record Neutralize the Threat, their latest drummer change, their recent European tour, and upcoming plans for 2011. Karl also answered our scar question! See them this fall on their upcoming US tour.

METAL SHOP - back by popular demand! We began this week with new music from both Toxic Holocaust and Cannabis Corpse. Cephalic Carnage and Ancient also showed up this hour before we aired a portion of our interview with Jamey Jasta from last week's Rockstar Mayhem Festival. New music from Sepultura and Benighted were played this hour, and we ended with giving away tickets to the Summer Slaughter tour with Darkest Hour and Dying Fetus.

Tonight we featured Ripping Corpse on From The Vault, our segment devoted to some of the more old-school metal bands. Erik Rutan ripped it up in Ripping Corpse, and we followed that up with Animals As Leaders. We played local band Lenore and gave away tickets to the all-local metal festival NXNW down in the South-end. Local bands Psychonaut Death Trip and Blood & Thunder also showed up this hour. Gigan and Slayer took us out and led us into Caught In A Mosh!

We started Caught In A Mosh this week with Regurgitate, and went into new Harm's Way, Extreme Noise Terror, Discordance Axis, new Earth Crisis and finally Bury Your Dead. We played a request for King Diamond and aired our portion of the interview we did with Robb Flynn from Machine Head last week at the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. Meatwad from the Adult Swim network phoned in, and we ended the episode with Eyehategod. See you all next week!

This past Saturday Myself, Toppy and BT held our KISW Mid-Season Draft; this is us discussing some of the better picks of the draft, but we really talk about all the horrible picks people made.
