John Kevill, the singer of Warbringer stopped by the studio today before their performance at El Corazon and he sat down with us to talk about their first headlining tour, their new record "Worlds Torn Asunder," gangster rappers, some either-or questions and he also answered our scar question. Welcome back to Metal Shop! We are proud to re-introduce you to our traditional Metal Shop Halloween covers episode - which began this year with Grave covering classic Seattle band Alice In Chains. We went on to salute Judas Priest with Death's cover of Painkiller. We gave away tickets to see Gwar and played their cover of Alice Cooper's School's Out. We gave away tickets to Whitechapel and played their most recent Pantera cover, aired the second portion of our Devin Townsend interview, and also gave away tickets to see Mastodon and played their cover of Thin Lizzy's Emerald.

Tonight's cover version of Caught In A Mosh featured Hatesphere playing Anthrax's Caught In A Mosh, Fleshgod Apocolpyse playing At The Gates, Dying Fetus playing Napalm Death, and local band Left With Nothing playing Slayer. We gave out tickets to both Impiety and Warbringer this hour, and played a ton of awesome covers. Tonight's Metal Shop went out with Type O Negative covering Black Sabbath. See you next week!

Tonight we began Metal Shop with music from The Faceless and Obituary, played new music from As I Lay Dying, and gave away tickets to Firewind/Arsis. We also debuted a new song from Whitechapel from their latest EP, "Recorruption." Next week will be our Halloween tribute and celebration episode so we will be playing nothing but covers! We tested the waters this time around with Crowbar's Dream Weaver and Cannibal Corpse covering Black Sabbath.

Tonight's old-school segment From The Vault featured Helloween - helpin you get into the spirit of the season. We gave away Warbringer tickets this hour and played a song from their new record Worlds Torn Asunder. The Metal Shop listeners were calling in force tonight, and we were the lucky recipients of a new Metal Shop toast this hour. We gave away tickets to GWAR, and ended the hour with a classic from Lamb Of God.

We began Caught In A Mosh tonight with The Acacia Strain into Applaud The Impaler, Last Days Of Humanity, Brutal Truth, Inherit Disease and ended our heaviest 15 minutes with I Eat Your Face. Impiety tickets went out to a few lucky winners this hour and Brutal Poetry featured DYING FETUS. We gave out tickets to Devin Townsend and The Ocean, and ended the night with new music from Venom and an epic black metal song from Nightbringer. See you next week!

Tonight's From The Vault featured Cradle Of Filth's first full length recording: The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh, released in 1994. We gave away Chimaira tickets, played new Absu and aired the second portion of our interview with Mikael from Opeth. Some valiant callers did their best Halford impressions and won themselves tickets to the farewell Judas Priest performance here in the north west.

This week's Caught In A Mosh featured Decrepit Birth, Vomit Remnant, Condemned, Xibalba, and Wormrot. We also gave away tickets to Firewind, and in case you didn't get enough heaviness, Brutal Poetry featured Cryptopsy's Benedictive Convulsion. We aired the third portion of our interview with Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth this hour and concluded with an epic tune from Electric Wizard.
