We gave away SLAYER tickets and also featured local band 7 Horns 7 Eyes, who's preview EP Convalesence is available on Itunes now.

We resolved Caught In A Mosh by giving away tickets to see Exhumed, and played both new All Shall Perish and Saxon. Today we got to talk with John Kevill, the vocalist of modern thrash band Warbringer. He told us about some of the songs on their new record, "Worlds Torn Asunder," the Warbringer songwriting process, tour activities, John's dream band, and he also answered our scar question. Their new record comes out September 27th on Century Media and they will be in town at El Corazon on November 5th.

New music from Sepultura and Benighted were played this hour, and we ended with giving away tickets to the Summer Slaughter tour with Darkest Hour and Dying Fetus.

Tonight we featured Ripping Corpse on From The Vault, our segment devoted to some of the more old-school metal bands. Erik Rutan ripped it up in Ripping Corpse, and we followed that up with Animals As Leaders. We played local band Lenore and gave away tickets to the all-local metal festival NXNW down in the South-end. Local bands Psychonaut Death Trip and Blood & Thunder also showed up this hour. Gigan and Slayer took us out and led us into Caught In A Mosh!

Meatwad from the Adult Swim network phoned in, and we ended the episode with Eyehategod. See you all next week!
