Tonight's From The Vault features Sabbat - an oldschool Japanese thrash band from 1992. We also went on to give away two pairs of tickets to see Slayer, and also interviewed The Black Dahlia Murder this hour. The Human Abstract ended the hour.

We started Caught In A Mosh tonight with Misericordiam, into Implosive Disgorgance, Killl The Client, Maggut, Nasum, Pig Destroyer and finally Devourment! We discussed the break-up of Jag Panzer, and also gave away tickets to Brian Posehn and The Sword. We'll see you next Saturday night!

We talked today with Karl, the singer of Earth Crisis about their new record Neutralize the Threat, their latest drummer change, their recent European tour, and upcoming plans for 2011. Karl also answered our scar question! See them this fall on their upcoming US tour.

Welcome back to Metal Shop! We began tonight with both Dimmu Borgir and Enslaved, in a tribute to our Norwegian friends dealing with their current tragedy, and also to the amazing music that comes from that nation. We interviewed John Kevill from Warbringer and also debuted a brand new track from their record, "Worlds Torn Asunder." We gave away SLAYER tickets and also featured local band 7 Horns 7 Eyes, who's preview EP Convalesence is available on Itunes now.

Tonight's From The Vault featured a Finnish death metal band from 1992 by the name of Convulse! After that we played new music from Toxic Holocaust, gave away Summer Slaughter tickets, talked to Matt Heafy from Trivium, and also gave away tickets to see SLAYER!

We march on with CAUGHT IN A MOSH - our heaviest segment of the night. Tonight we featured Shockwave, Last Days Of Humanity, Harm's Way, and Xibalba. We resolved Caught In A Mosh by giving away tickets to see Exhumed, and played both new All Shall Perish and Saxon. We talked to Dave Mustaine this hour and ended the show by giving away Slayer tickets and playing local band No Living Witness. See you next Saturday night at 11pm!

Today we got to talk with John Kevill, the vocalist of modern thrash band Warbringer. He told us about some of the songs on their new record, "Worlds Torn Asunder," the Warbringer songwriting process, tour activities, John's dream band, and he also answered our scar question. Their new record comes out September 27th on Century Media and they will be in town at El Corazon on November 5th.

METAL SHOP - back by popular demand! We began this week with new music from both Toxic Holocaust and Cannabis Corpse. Cephalic Carnage and Ancient also showed up this hour before we aired a portion of our interview with Jamey Jasta from last week's Rockstar Mayhem Festival. New music from Sepultura and Benighted were played this hour, and we ended with giving away tickets to the Summer Slaughter tour with Darkest Hour and Dying Fetus.

Tonight we featured Ripping Corpse on From The Vault, our segment devoted to some of the more old-school metal bands. Erik Rutan ripped it up in Ripping Corpse, and we followed that up with Animals As Leaders. We played local band Lenore and gave away tickets to the all-local metal festival NXNW down in the South-end. Local bands Psychonaut Death Trip and Blood & Thunder also showed up this hour. Gigan and Slayer took us out and led us into Caught In A Mosh!

We started Caught In A Mosh this week with Regurgitate, and went into new Harm's Way, Extreme Noise Terror, Discordance Axis, new Earth Crisis and finally Bury Your Dead. We played a request for King Diamond and aired our portion of the interview we did with Robb Flynn from Machine Head last week at the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. Meatwad from the Adult Swim network phoned in, and we ended the episode with Eyehategod. See you all next week!
