Today we sat down with a hugely influential figurehead here in Pacific Northwest underground music. His name is Greg Bennick, and he's a film maker, inspiration speaker, humanitarian, and singer of classic Seattle hardcore band Trial. They are reuniting to play a show at Rainfest this Memorial Day weekend at Neumos on Capitol Hill. In this interview we discuss Rainfest, future plans for Trial, early Trial influences, early Seattle hardcore and metal, The 100 For Haiti Foundation, and how you can find out more about this charity.

We started this hour with our first ever winners of the From The Vault competition! All week long we had been taking votes for either Queensryche or Serpent's Knight. They are both from the Northwest and both from 1983, so no need to worry about Silent Lucidity. We gave away Slayer tickets this hour, and Children of Bodom, Graf Orlock, Machine Head and many others also showed up.

Caught In A Mosh tonight started with The Red Chord, tastefully slamming your face into The Murder Construct, Wormrot and Dying Fetus. Welcome to Wal Mart! We gave away tickets to Woods of Ypres this hour and said goodbye to our friend Nathan who is moving to South Korea to be the first foreign Metal Shop corresponent. Tonight's Caught In A Mosh began with new music from Magrudergrind into Gojira, Aborted, Total F'ing Destruction, Nailbomb and finally Merauder.
