Welcome to the 4th hour of Metal Shop, which begins with a segment we like to call the Dub Sack; a stony foray into the slightly greener, doomier world of metal. Tonight's Dub Sack featured brand new Saint Vitus, and we also played brand new music from Unleashed, Ihsahn, Marduk and Jeff Loomis. One lucky person won tickets to see Brian Posehn at the Neptune Theater, Metal Shop last call went out and we ended with new music from local band Stealing Axion. Today Ian sat down with Bill Kelliher (guitar) and Brann Dailor (drums) of Mastodon before their show at the Showbox Sodo with Opeth and Ghost. They discussed the current tour, and the evolution of Mastodon with The Hunter. Bill and Brann explained a bit about their Record Store Day releases and commented on the recent demise of Roadrunner Records UK. They finished off by showing off their scars and gave some final words for the Northwest audience.

Caught In A Mosh, our most insane 15 minutes of radio began tonight with a little diddy by a band called Cattle Decapitation. It was followed shortly with brutality from Last Days Of Humanity, Desecravity, Hemdale, and finally Spawn Of Possesion. We gave out tickets to go see Paganfest with Turisas, Alestorm, Phalgeron and others this hour, and Ian completed this week's Brutal Poetry by reading a passage from Dying Fetus' Kill Your Mother, Rape Your Dog. Dethklok popped up this hour and we also chatted briefly about the new project from Brendon Smalls - Galaktikon!

Hour four began with live MAIDEN into our stoney segment the 2am dub sack. Demon Lung burned your brain and then we gave away tickets to see Sepultura! As usual, we filled the last half of our last hour with as many requests we possibly could, and then said goodbye to our guests in 7 Horns 7 Eyes, and Dusty Peterson the death metal artist. We'll see you again next Saturday, friend!

Welcome back to the gates of Metal Shop once again, our metal headed friend! We began tonight with a song by Integrity by the name of Heaven's Final War, and went into brand new music from Soulfly. The new music continued with an unreleased song from God Forbid, we said hello to our new intern this hour, and also announced the Marduk tour with 1349 on June 15th at Studio Seven. Tickets to see Deicide went out, and we played new music from Borknagar! From The Vault takes over the midnight hour up next.

Caught In A Mosh tonight featured Aborted, Terrorizer, Condemned, Pig Destroyer and Devastated! After we annihilated your brain into dust with our heaviest 15 minutes, we gave out tickets to go see Rammstein. Brutal Poetry featured a memorable version of Ian reading Jungle Rot's Psychotic Cremation. We aired new music from Cannibal Corpse and ended Metal Shop this week with last call, our final request segment of the week. See you next Saturday night on Metal Shop!

We began tonight's episode with an epic banger from Behemoth, and a brand new unreleased song from Black Breath to get things going in the right direction! We also announced HUGE Metal Shop news, in that as of next week we are going to be on the air as a four hour show as opposed to the traditional 3 we are used to. Next week Metal Shop is on from 11pm to 3am! Folk Metal February continued on with Tyr and Ensiferum! We ended the first hour of the Shop with tickets to see Possessed and brand new Cannibal Corpse!

From The Vault, our oldschool segment featured Katatonia, and we also found out why our intern wasn't here last week. Apparently he got knocked the eff out by a bass cab, and Gym Rat Matt broke his arm being a bro. Shocking. We sent out an entire block of UNRELEASED music this hour, including Cannibal Corpse, Periphery, Meshuggah, Black Breath and Municipal Waste. We gave away a few more pairs of tickets to see Possessed, and ended the hour with djenty djams from Vildhjarta.

We started Metal Shop tonight with a band by the name of Abominable Putridity – just to warm you up! Brand new Soulfly was played right at the beginning, and we also gave out our tickets to see August Burns Red at El Corazon on Feb. 11th. This hour also featured local band Sacrament Ov Impurity in studio live, promoting their show next week with Phalgeron at El Corazon.
