Tonight's From The Vault featured old-school thrashers Hirax. We gave away tickets to Megadeth this hour, and played classic X-mas tunes from both King Diamond and Rob Halford. Our first pair of tickets to see Sanctuary at El Corazon on New Year's Eve went out this hour, and played a ragin' new jam from Skeletonwitch. And if you were paying attention, you might have heard 7 Horns 7 Eyes' rendition of the Metal Shop theme song!

Hour three began with our heaviest 15 minutes of the night - Caught In A Mosh, brought to you by Rotten Sound, Condemned, Last Days of Humanity, Gone Beyond Necropsy, Brutal Truth, Malignancy, Insect Warfare and Pathology! 8 songs in 15 minutes. We gave away tickets to see Megadeth, and both Gym Jams and Brutal Poetry returned with Pantera and Brain Drill, respectively. Sanctuary tickets went out tonight, and we ended with our final tribute to Dimebag with Pantera's Cemetary Gates. We'll see you next Saturday night at 11pm!

52:20 minutes Metal Shop - Hour 1 - December 3rd, 2011

Pantera kicked off Metal Shop tonight - and it has definitely been a good night! In this first hour, we gave away tickets to see the return of Sanctuary to the North West on New Years Eve 2011 and began another month of Death Metal December with Cannibal Corpse, Possessed, Behemoth, Deeds Of Flesh, Dying Fetus, Carcass, and Obituary. Tasty.

From The Vault tonight featured an oldschool jam from Immortal's predecesors - Amputation. We played Motorhead and Megadeth and gave away tickets to see those guys in Kent at the Showare Center. Chris Johnson from Action Tattoo is heading up an awesome DIY toy drive for people in the South Sound in 2011, so we shouted him out and played the new holiday tune from August Burns Red - God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. We gave out our 2nd pair of tickets to see Sanctuary on New Years Eve, and we ended this hour with music from Korpiklaani and Killswitch Engage.

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh featured Cephalotripsy, Revilement, Magrudergrind, Cryptopsy, and Noisear. We gave out another pair of tickets to see Megadeth and Motorhead at the Gigantour 2012, and Kevin brought us Brutal Poetry featuring Cattle Decapitation. Tim Lambesis continues his tribute to Ahhhhnold Swartzeneger with new music from Austrian Death Machine, and we opened up the phone lines for our Metal Shop last call of the night. We shall see you again next Saturday night!

We don't normally start with folk metal, but we made an exception this week for an awesome track by Swiss band Eluveitie - followed by a Brutality cover of Black Sabbath's Electric Funeral. Hail the return of Black Sabbath! We aired new music from Cradle Of Filth, gave away tickets to see High On Fire, and spent the rest of the hour talking with and playing music from local band Blood and Thunder. Kirk Windstein's beard of doom also popped up to say hello at the end of this hour.

From The Vault tonight featured Morta Skuld, paying homage to some awesome old school metal bands. We announced two big early spring tours this hour - In Flames on February 3rd, and Overkill on April 30th. Mayhem tickets went out this hour, and we also debuted new music from Leviathan. We gave out tickets to Cynic this hour and played new Insomnium alongside Meshuggah.

Caught In A Mosh began tonight with grinders Putridity, followed by Fields Of Elysium, a South American band by the name of Nueva Etica, Nasum and Abnormity. Calming down a bit from CIAM, we gave away tickets to see Kyuss Lives! and played music from the opening band The Sword. Brutal Poetry this evening featured Kevin's fine rendition of Skinless's Tug Of War Intestines. The last half of this hour was opened up to requests, and we ended with new music from Vildhjarta.

From The Vault - our oldschool segment of the night - features a band by the name of Wrathchild America playing their song Hell's Gates. We debuted new Megadeth this hour, and gave out tickets to Whitechapel and played new music from Vader. Kevin interviewed Nick Jett from Terror this hour and gave away tickets to their show on Monday, November 7th at El Corazon. Dimmu Borgir and Dillenger Escape Plan ended the hour.

Hour 3 always begins with our heaviest 15 minutes of the night - CAUGHT IN A MOSH! Tonight we featured Ingested, Pathology, Mortician, Gridlink, and Maruta. High On Fire tickets exited our hands this hour, and the rest of the third hour features a complete Metal Shop take-over by an awesome thrash band by the name of Warbringer - playing tunes off of their new record and some of their favorite songs.
