Brand new music from Between The Buried and Me was debuted this hour, and we also gave away our first pair of tickets to see Hatebreed, Whitechapel, and All Shall Perish this Tuesday at the Showbox Market. We had BJ from the WA chapter of NYDM in studio again to give his local concert calendar, and we debuted another new release from Dethklok!

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh brought you the heaviest 15 minutes of the entire week here on KISW - featuring bands such as Strong Intention, Malignancy, Slam Coke, Vomitory, and Murder Construct. Right after CIAM this week, we gave out tickets to see Accept, Kreator, and Swallow the Sun, followed by a greeting from the lovely Jolene and a rendition of Brutal Poetry brought to you by Ian reciting the fine lyrical stylings of one All Out War. We ended this hour with a brand new music block from The Devin Townsend Project, Dethklok, and last but not least Grave!

Tonight’s From The Vault segment featured Savatage from 1987! Gettin’ oldschool on your ass! Later on this hour we gave away tickets to see Eyehategod, Prong, and Black Breath at Bumbershoot and aired a portion of our interview with Paul, the drummer of the mighty Cannibal Corpse. We also gave out tickets to Devin Townsend Project and Katatonia, as well as debuted another new song from Ensiferum!

\m/ Welcome back to Metal Shop - 4 hours of brutality and debauchery each and every Saturday night on KISW! We began tonight with a rager from Pulling Teeth into a brand new brutal track from Cryptopsy. New Faceless followed by Dying Fetus and Fear Factory took us into our interview segment with classic Northwest band SANCTUARY! They told us a bit about their new record, when to expect it, and to come out and see them play some of their new songs next Saturday at the Studio Seven 10th Anniversary party.

WELCOME BACK Metalheads to the realm of Metal Shop! We started tonight with Napalm Death into some classic Suicidal Tendencies! Some brand new music from Ensiferum went out this hour, and we began our interview segment with local band Six Days Of Darkness - our local openers for the Summer Slaughter festival on August 22nd at The Showbox Sodo. We gave out tickets to said show, played another Summer Slaughter band Cereberal Bore, and heard once more from local band 6 Days Of Darkness!

Metal Shop's third hour this evening began with a tune from Sabaton into Caught In A MOSH, our heaviest 15 minutes of the night! We started off with Devour The Unborn (tasty), into Engorgement, Warf**K, and Visceral Disgorge. Gorge yourself! After CIAM we played another song from the new Nachtmystium record, Silencing Machine, which came out last week on Century Media Records. Intern Ryan The Beard took on Brutal Poetry this week, with a literal stab at a fine lyrical gem from Abominable Putridity.

Tonight's DUB SACK, our stony green portion of the night, we featured more brand new music! This time it came in the form of a 9 minute jam by a band called Eagle Twin! New music continued on all the way until the end of the show with new tunes from The Foreshadowing, Gaza, Ex Deo, Ovid's Withering, and many more. As usual, Metal Shop's last call came into effect, and we closed out the night with requests for Vision Of Disorder and local band Blood And Thunder. KEEP METAL ALIVE! We'll see you next week! \m/

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh featured Rotten Sound, Putridity, Aborted, Milking The Goat Machine and new music from Murder Construct! As a reward for sticking through our heaviest segment of the night, we gave out our final pair of tickets to go see Iron Maiden in 2012. Kevin returned us to the Brutal Poetry lounge tonight with an excerpt from Exhumed's "Open The Abscess." We aired some brand new Folk Metal from Korpiklaani and ended the hour with some classic Seattle metal from Metal Church. \m/

Tonight's 2am Dubsack featured new music from Hooded Menace, and then we hit you with another new song from local band Stealing Axion into MORE new music from King of Asgard! We aired another of Kevin's interviews from his trip last week to California's Sound And Fury - This time with Nick Jett, drumer of the crossover band Terror. We hit last call and called it a night here on Metal Shop by playing some Lamb Of God in solidarity with Randy Blythe and his current incarceration in the Czech Republic. Our oldschool segment From The Vault featured Fate's Warning from Hartford, Connecticut. We played Fata Morgana off of their 1986 record Awaken The Guardian. We gave away tickets to Lamb Of God/Gojira/Dethklok on August 1st at the WAMU Theater, and also played a brand new music block featuring Dying Fetus, Kataklysm, Candlemass and St. Vitus. Lastly we ended with a tour announcement featuring Agalloch at the Crocodile Cafe on July 12th.
