Metal Shop's third hour this evening began with a tune from Sabaton into Caught In A MOSH, our heaviest 15 minutes of the night! We started off with Devour The Unborn (tasty), into Engorgement, Warf**K, and Visceral Disgorge. Gorge yourself! After CIAM we played another song from the new Nachtmystium record, Silencing Machine, which came out last week on Century Media Records. Intern Ryan The Beard took on Brutal Poetry this week, with a literal stab at a fine lyrical gem from Abominable Putridity.

Our second hour began this week with From The Vault, bringing you an oldschool jam by the godfathers in Deep Purple. We also continued our conversation with John Pettibone of Himsa, Heiress, and Undertow. He told us about Heiress' show coming up with Doomriders, and John confirmed the possibility of a Himsa reunion in the future. Also thank you for participating in a moment of silence for our brother Travis Leva who passed away last week. Tickets to the Rockstar Mayhem festival went out this hour, we played new NILE, and also gave away tickets to Iron Maiden!

Our 2am hour begins each week with a segment aptly named the Dub Sack - and this week we featured a sweet stoner metal tune from a band by the name of Eagle Twin. Embrace your smoking device, this one's a rager. We debuted new music from Nile this hour, gave away tickets to the Rockstar Mayhem Festival and ended with the Metal Shop last call!

Our third hour tonight started with live DEATH into our heaviest 15 minutes of the night - Caught In A Mosh! CIAM tonight featured Putridity, All Out War, Graf Orlock, and Man Is The Bastard. We gave out tickets to the Rockstar Mayhem Festival this hour, and re-visited the Metal Shop Lounge with Brutal Poetry! We also played new Marduk and gave away tickets to their show this Friday with 1349.

Welcome back to the shady underside of KISW known as Metal Shop! We began with some Swedish classics from At The Gates and Bathory, then gave away tickets to see Destruction's 30th Anniversary tour. Seattle said goodbye to the classic Swedish grind band Nasum this week, and we also played brand new music from Nile's unreleased record At The Gate Of Sethu. One lucky person won tickets to see Slayer and the gang at this year's Rockstar Mayhem Festival, and we ended hour one with new music from Shadows Fall.

Welcome back to Metal Shop! We are proud to re-introduce you to our traditional Metal Shop Halloween covers episode - which began this year with Grave covering classic Seattle band Alice In Chains. We went on to salute Judas Priest with Death's cover of Painkiller. We gave away tickets to see Gwar and played their cover of Alice Cooper's School's Out. We began tonight with Gojira and the latest from Autopsy, gave away tickets to Decaptiated and Decrepit Birth, and celebrated 25 brutal years of Slayer's Reign In Blood. We talked with the gentlemen from Premonition 13 this hour, and also played Wino's other band Saint Vitus. Hour one came to a close with brand new unreleased music from Insomnium.

Tonight's heaviest 15 minutes, CAUGHT IN A MOSH featured new music from Brutal Truth and Wormrot, music from Gadget, Last Days Of Humanity, Iron Lung, Birdflesh, and Flesh Torture. We gave away tickets to both Premonition 13 and Death Angel this hour, and Kevin rocked Brutal Poetry with the help of Suffocation's Pierced From Within. Some oldschool classics from Slayer and The Accused were requested this hour, and we ended this week's Metal Shop with a groovy jam by Bonzilla. See you next week!

From The Vault, our oldschool segment, featured a great classic thrash band called Whiplash! We spoke with a few of our listeners, the Metal Authority and Lacedarius, and gave away tickets to see Toxic Holocaust. Phil Labonte gave us a call this week and chatted a bit about Pain In The Grass next Saturday at the White River Amphitheater. We played Slayer this hour and also gave away our final pair of tickets for Pentagram for the week.

Tonight's Caught In A Mosh featured the slamming tunes of Napalm Death, Pig Destroyer, Rotten Sound, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Devourment and Suffocation. We played local band Blood and Thunder, and also made our decree for the Metal Shop Last Call! We'll see you all next Saturday after Pain In The Grass!
